WHAT WE DO

The policy and strategy planning services include policy formulation, strategy development, strategic and operational planning and budgeting, technical assistance in implementing the policy and organizational reforms. The focus has so far been on public sector policy and strategy planning, public private partnerships and networking.

The services include country, programme and project development (using RBM, HRBP,. LFM, and others), fund management, establishing and managing project/programme implementation units/vehicles. Moreover, grant proposal writing, technical assistance for resource mobilizations, developing and managing strategic partnerships, developing contract management guidelines including quality assurance mechanisms, compliance management systems and training, and reporting.

AAN provides specialized research, monitoring and evaluation services. The key services include thematic, operational, formative, and other researches. The monitoring and evaluation services include design and assessment of monitoring systems, baselines, varied types of reviews and evaluations such as mid-term, end term, formative, ex-post, impact, and others.

The services include AAN’s niche area of expertise includes organizational reviews, change management, Restructuring restructuring and reforms, development of policy and operational guidelines and manuals, training in operations systems, knowledge management (by producing knowledge documents), and capacity development in other areas.

AAN, being a responsible entity is committed to contributing to the larger societal results. This we demonstrate through putting serious efforts in our work and taking responsibility for what we do. Moreover, we encourage staff and consultants to contribute whatever way and extent they can. AAN contributes by offering matching contributions, which mostly get spent on disadvantaged. The focus remains on enabling those benefitting from the assistance to become self-reliant, for which major contributions go towards education. The assistance prioritises the team members and those related/known to them.
